Since 1987, we've been a child development center for children ages 6 weeks - 6 years. We offer a homelike, nurturing environment with consistant staffing and flexible scheduling. Our magic moments happen daily during activities such as music, arts & crafts, cooking, drama, creative play and nature time.
Homestar Child Development Center and Running River are part of a larger vision to create a model educational system for children, parents and teachers ages birth through highschool. At the present time, Homestar is located in South Boulder and is a center for infants through preschool. Running River is located in Lafayette and is for grades K-6, but will be adding a middle school in 2007. In the future, both school will be located on one piece of property as an educational community dedicated to a balanced and holistic approach to learning and living.
