Notes and Additional Fees

Hours

7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Late pick-up fees will be assessed on an individual basis.

Tuition

Tuition is due by the fifth of each month or a late charge will be added. Alternative payment schedules need to be arranged in advance with the Director.

Siblings

When siblings enroll at Homestar, a 10% discount applies to the lower tuition rate.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space. Deposits are one half month’s tuition. This deposit is applied towards the first month’s tuition.

Registration Fee

There is a one-time $65 registration fee per family due at the time your child enrolls.

Rate Averaging

Rates are averaged over the year so that each month is equal regardless of the number of days the Center is open. Your rate will be the same regardless of attendance or closures.

Yearly Fee

There is a yearly fee which families may defer through accruing volunteer hours at Homestar. This is explained in the Parent Handbook and at the time of the intake interview. ($10 per month)

Hiking Fees

If your Preschool child attends on a hiking day, there is an additional cost of $4. In the summer, we add Mondays to our outing day and alternate going to the Reservoir which is an extra $1.50 (total of $5.50.) Only the oldest children are eligible for these hikes.
